Surprise
A birthday fic for Catspaw! Happy birthday, my friend!!
Catspaw and I were chatting one night and we got to teasing around with each other, as is our wont, and a challenge was issued . . . use the words: tubing, Ikea, Blockbuster, liver and dachschund. The following is the result.
++++
The sky above PZ2-6674 was a mottled, sickly pink. The trees were a rather festered shade of yellow, and Daniel knew if he stayed outside too long he'd get a headache just from the kaleidoscope of color that surrounded him. It wasn't that things weren't colorful; it was more that everything looked . . . infected. "A bruised-looking world" is what SG-3 had called this place and they'd been right.
Sam had been quite detailed as to why everything looked as it did - light combinations, sensitivity to the proper wavelengths . . . she'd droned on for nearly an hour about what to expect visually from the planet. It didn't matter - it all still made him feel a little nauseous. He sighed in physical relief as he entered the tomb and flicked on his flashlight. "That's better," he drawled. Walking over to one of the walls covered in deep, thick etchings he began running his hands over the carvings. "Start here and work around I guess," he muttered to himself.
As he set about his work, he wondered how the rest of the team was faring. Sam had fashioned a film to fit over their sunglasses that, when worn, would compensate for the strange light of the planet, but he'd declined, saying that it would hamper him in the dark recesses of the tomb. Jack had gone off to walk the perimeter, Teal'c had gone with Carter to gather samples, and Daniel had moved toward the ruins dug into the side of a mountain.
The mini-floods he'd brought were soon in place, throwing a glancing light across the walls and bringing the carvings out in strong relief. There was a large chunk of broken pillar in the middle of his work area that would make a perfectly fine seat and he set to work, losing himself quickly in first taping, then transcribing, the written language before him. It was a variation of Latin - which meant he should be able to get this translated before their scheduled departure off-world in two days.
As he moved to reach for one of his reference books, he was suddenly picked up and thrust forward, his body slamming against the wall of the tomb. "What the fuck?!"
"Nullus dicco," came the gravelly voice behind him.
Daniel felt his head being pushed harder into the wall as his weapons were quickly removed and his vest with the radio cast aside. He wasn't due to check in for another hour. An awful lot could happen in that time. Before he knew what was happening, he felt his arms being bound behind him, wrists tied together with something that felt spongy, or rubbery. The pressure on his neck held him in place easily. When he heard the hiss of metal being unsheathed, he swallowed hard.
"Lacer," whispered the voice as a knife's sharp point grazed down the side of his face and across his throat. "Quies." The blade pushed against his throat. "Judicium."
Daniel nodded slowly that he understood - and he did. Barely. The language was broken, a derivation of Ancient, residing somewhere between earth Latin and the long forgotten language of the gate builders.
"Paciscor?" Daniel whispered, his voice rough from the lack of moisture in his throat.
"Nullus!" came the barked reply.
Daniel grunted as he was shoved roughly in the back, the knife biting slightly into his neck. "Congruo," he said quickly. His heart was hammering in his chest so loud he could barely hear himself think. He grit his teeth and bit back a silent plea when he felt the knife slice easily through his belt and the heavy material of his BDUs and the thinner material of his briefs. The cool air of the tomb washed over his naked lower body, making him shudder in response.
Holding perfectly still, he closed his eyes as he felt the tip of the knife scratch slowly down over his skin and the blade come to rest against the back of his thigh - right against his hamstring.
"Per sic quod?"
Daniel nodded slowly. His feet were kicked apart roughly and he felt the man behind him loosening his own clothing before pressing up behind him. Before he knew what was happening, a knotted cloth was tied around his head and forced into his mouth, gagging him to keep him from screaming out. Strong rough hands spread his buttocks. There was a deep, filthy laugh from behind him and Daniel felt the burning pain of entry. It knocked his breath from him.
The man began moving rapidly and Daniel looked down in stunned amazement as his body responded. Letting out a defeated gasp, he sagged forward against the wall and waited for the inevitable. Time slowed and his body flushed as he felt the reaction to the constant stimulation of his prostate beginning to take over. He fought himself back away from the edge of completion several times before his head was roughly grabbed and whipped around to look into the eyes of the man behind him. The gag was quickly torn away.
Jack's heated gaze burned into him. "Consumo."
"Oh GOD!" Daniel choked out as his body hurtled into a searing orgasm. "Dammit . . . awww goddamn it!"
Jack lowered them both carefully to their knees in the soft sand of the temple, holding Daniel close to him, and rocking him slightly back and forth. When the tremors had stopped and Daniel leaned against him, breathless, he carefully withdrew and pulled the condom from his softening cock, tying it off and tossing it among the tatters of Daniel's BDUs. "Ya'okay?" Jack whispered, rubbing Daniel's stomach tenderly while nuzzling just behind one perfect ear.
Daniel nodded. Kneeling forward, he wiggled his wrists and Jack quickly cut him free. Daniel looked down at the binding.
"Is this the new tubing for my fish tank?"
Jack shrugged. "Had to bring something with me for this."
"I'm suspending your use of my Blockbuster account for a week ," Daniel said, fingering the bits of pale yellow rubber. "This stuff is expensive."
"I'll buy you more," Jack said, kissing Daniel on the cheek and helping him to stand. He quickly moved to where his pack was stored and pulled out one of the three pairs of spare BDUs he'd brought, handing them to Daniel who was wiping the remnants of their encounter from his thighs with his bandana. "Speaking of buying things . . ."
"Hm?" Daniel asked, distracted.
"When we get back, I'm taking you shopping for a new bed."
"What's wrong with my bed?"
"Daniel, it's a full size - we need more room."
"If you would have kept mine . . ."
"Don't start," Jack warned as he gathered up their refuse quickly. "Not everyone gets me to shop at Ikea, ya know. You better consider yourself lucky."
"Oh, I do," Daniel purred happily as he pulled on his pants, "I definitely do."
"So, what's next on your list of top ten fantasies?" Jack asked. Handing Daniel his vest, he checked to make sure the radio was still in working order.
"Wood nymph and Elven soldier?" Daniel snickered.
"That's just . . . wrong . . . on so very many levels," Jack laughed easily.
"Thank you - for this," Daniel said, stepping into Jack's personal space. His eyes flashed hungrily and he couldn't help but smile at Jack's response as he watched the brown eyes darken. "You can be one scary sonofabitch."
"You were always safe," Jack whispered, stroking one finger down the side of Daniel's face.
"I know," Daniel said. "Fact still remains."
"Did I hurt you? You said you'd be ready for me today. With the condom I couldn't really tell how slick . . . "
"I was prepped," Daniel smiled wolfishly. "Took care of things before I came in here."
Jack took Daniel carefully into his embrace, pulling him close. "I wouldn't ever force you - you know that, right?"
"I know," Daniel said. "I wouldn't let you if I didn't want you to . . . and I'd kill anyone else who tried."
"'k," Jack whispered against Daniel's still damp neck.
"By the way," Daniel whispered.
"Hmmm?" Jack responded, the vibration sending a lovely quiver down Daniel's spine.
"Your Latin sucks."
Jack laughed into Daniel's shoulder, feeling the other man chuckle as well. He tightened his hold on his lover slightly and took in a long breath, filling his nose with Daniel's unique scent. "I hope Carter doesn't pick right now to . . ."
Sir, Daniel?
Jack rolled his eyes and keyed his comm. "Go." He reluctantly released his grip on Daniel.
Sir, we've found some indigenous life out here. Nothing to worry about, but you might want to keep an eye out.
"What is it?"
Sort of a cross between a dachshund and a piece of liver, sir. Seems to live near bodies of water. We just scared up whole . . . herd . . . of them.
"Dangerous?"
No, sir. They seem more frightened of us than anything.
"Don't go adopting one," Jack said with a lopsided grin toward Daniel who moved away, laughing quietly, to get back to work. "We're camping near the tomb tonight. I'll start a fire, get dinner ready."
Roger that. We should be back in about twenty.
"Roger." He clicked the radio twice then went to sit down next to Daniel. "Maybe on the next planet we'll try that water nymph thing."
"Home would work," Daniel said with a knowing smile. "That river you took me fishing on . . ."
"Ahhh, is that where this all started?"
Daniel quirked his eyebrows and went back to studying the walls. "Started on Abydos, actually."
Jack just smiled and gave a little nod of agreement. "I'm gonna go start a fire."
"You already have," Daniel muttered.
Jack gave him a steamy look as he moved off to burn the evidence of what had happened between them. Daniel grabbed his pack and scrounged around quickly. He hoped he'd brought enough lube for the rest of the mission . . . one never knew when Jack O'Neill would get another wild urge. It was best to always be prepared.
