Recommendations
I'm not going to give links to most of these places, because some people don't want their stuff linked and others have let their sites go by the way side in one form or another . . . but, these authors are out there in the major archives and their work is some of the best on the net. I hope you'll give them a try.
SLASH FICTION
Catspaw and Wadjet - These two writers have sooooo got the voices of both Jack and Daniel down to a "T" that you'll be able to hear and see them perfectly in your heads when you read their stories. And they are both FABULOUS writers - great skills with language.
Anais - Daniel Jackson's Diaries are CLASSIC. So hilarious you won't be able to breathe from laughing.
Keiko Kirin - This author just does not write a bad story - all of her stuff is really superlative.
The Grrrl - Another one that's reasonably new to me. I'm hoping she'll be around for awhile - I truly enjoy her work.
SLASH ARCHIVES
Here are the archives most commonly used by the majority of slash writers. And while you're in them looking around, feeding your slash addiction, stop by their donation pages and toss some coin in the coffers - having this stuff up on the web costs money - help 'em out a little.
The Cartouche - You'll need to sign up with a username and password to access this one, but it's free.
SLASH ART
There's only a couple places on the net that I've found truly excellent SG-1 original art (we're not talking manips and wallpapers here). I love seeing quality, original art so if you know of some places, clue me in. In any fandom - I just really like seeing artwork depicting the pairings.
x_art - This lady is incredible. She's had trouble in the past with people stealing her work (and those people should be hunted down and punished), so she's asked that her site not be linked to. I totally respect that. If you happen to come across her work, however . . . it will be worth the wait. She's FANTASTIC.
Partners R More/Suzan Lovett - This lovely lady agreed to let me link to her site (thank you Suzan!). Her work is beautiful . . . you'll love it. But DON'T STEAL! That will make me very cranky if I find out I have to remove this link because people couldn't exercise some common decency.
